U.D.L

(Universal Design for Learning)

Universal Design for Learning (UDL) is an educational framework that is informed by the Universal Design principles of accessibility and architecture.

Namely, the framework supports inclusion and accessibility for all students as part of program design rather than retro-fitting curricula.

Informed by principles of cognitive neuroscience, the UDL framework asks teachers to consider a variety of options for the delivery of content, assessment of knowledge acquisition and engagement.

We support schools with;

  • staff professional learning

  • modelling and guidance for structured, sequential implementation of the UDL framework

  • best practice reference points for the practical implementation of UDL principles within teaching programs and lesson delivery
